Vision Engineering personnel are experts at designing, building and fielding advanced optical imaging and sensing systems which can also be used for test and evaluation purposes. This includes: UV through LWIR imagers, laser imagers, parametric sensors, LIDARS and LADARS. We design and build sensors for high technology readiness level (TRL) and mission critical applications. We also build systems for mission and safety critical applications; for instance, we have designed sensors for critical applications such as Range Safety Abort and Laser Safety systems. In fact, our Predictive Avoidance and Safety System is the de facto standard for the Navy’s High Energy Laser Program.
